Role Summary
As a Senior Cloud & Systems Administrator you will work as a core part of our tight-knit engineering team. Our product is a client-facing web application that acts as an automation platform for complex medical data. The application uses our AI technology to connect legal and medical administrators processing medical claims. What you'll be doing
- Support our cloud operations infrastructure and applications for our customer needs
- Perform administration of our AWS cloud platform - compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, compute, auditing, compliance
- Establish and maintain adherence to systems access policies
- Fine-tuning and configuring various cloud infrastructures
- Creating backups and managing disaster recovery
- Effectively monitoring performance and availability
- Deploy new services and environments as required
- Assist in developing junior team members with coaching and support
- Support the Engineering Leadership team with strategic input as it relates to operational and infrastructure efficiency
- Maintaining access control, as well as the integrity of data
- Performing services such as patching, and software upgrades
- Troubleshoot technical issues across our platform
- Ensure secure architecture with robust access control and data privacy controls
- Follow standard practices regarding incident, problem and change management
You're a great candidate if
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure management and design, with a focus on customer service and complex technical assistance
- Experience with Scripting and Automation Technologies: Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Lambda, Python, System Center,
- Practical experience and knowledge in working with Linux OS
- Experience with ticketing and monitoring systems
- Experience with IDP/SSO/SAML, Azure Active Directory
- Working knowledge of relational DBs [Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL]
- Have familiarity with microservices and Docker
- You have a great ability to work and collaborate effectively with other team members
- Have experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines)
- You have experience in investigation and debugging of issues
- Experience with cloud native and traditional on premise backup and recovery solutions
- Knowledge of cybersecurity compliances standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Strong understanding of networking concepts in the cloud: VPCs, Internet Gateways, ELBs, Routing and Peering, NSGs
- 3+ years of experience with cloud technology; AWS, Azure, GCP
